Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
Rodinia ("Rodinia", "we", "us") is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rodinia lets businesses connect their advertising, store, email and accounting accounts to AI assistants they choose, and shows them everything those assistants read and change. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile those services share (name and email). If you use a password, it is stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see it.
- Workspace information. The names of your workspaces, your settings (such as approval mode), and the people you invite.
- Platform credentials. When you connect a platform such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon or QuickBooks, we store the access tokens or API keys needed to reach it. These are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored and are never shown to AI assistants.
- Platform data. When you or an AI assistant you connected asks a question, we fetch the relevant data from the connected platform (for example campaign spend, orders or email performance) and pass it to that assistant. We do not keep copies of this data beyond what is described below.
- Activity records. For each AI request we record the tool used, the platform, the request's settings (with anything resembling a key or password removed), a short summary of the result, and the time taken, so you can see it in the live view. We also keep an audit log of account changes and approvals.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe on our website, we collect your email address and where you signed up, and use it to send our newsletter.
- Billing information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your plan and payment status, not your full card number.
- Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and request times, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To run Rodinia: sign you in, connect your platforms, answer your AI assistant's requests, and show you the live view and history.
- To apply changes only after you approve them.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To bill you and to contact you about your account.
- To send our newsletter if you subscribed. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To email you when your AI suggests a change, when a connected app stops working, and a Night Watch morning report. You can turn these off in Settings.
- To answer questions you ask inside Rodinia ("Ask Rodinia"). Your question and the platform data needed to answer it are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the answer.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your platform data to train AI models.
AI assistants you connect
You decide which AI assistant (for example Claude or another tool) gets a Rodinia connector link. Data Rodinia sends to that assistant is then handled under that provider's own terms and privacy policy. You can revoke any connector link at any time in your dashboard, and you can pause all AI access with one switch.
Google user data
Rodinia's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data (such as Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console and Gmail data) only to provide the features you request in Rodinia. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train AI models, and do not allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or where required by law.
Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers to run Rodinia: Supabase (database, authentication and servers), Netlify (website hosting), Stripe (payments), Klaviyo (newsletter emails), Resend (alert and Night Watch emails), Anthropic (answers for Ask Rodinia), and Google or Apple if you sign in with them. They process data only on our behalf. We share data with the platforms you connect only to carry out your requests, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect Rodinia and its users.
How long we keep it
- AI activity records are deleted automatically after 180 days.
- Platform credentials are deleted as soon as you disconnect a platform.
- Account and workspace data are kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or security reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can disconnect any platform, revoke any connector link, or pause AI access at any time from your dashboard. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@getrodinia.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will honor them.
Security
Credentials are encrypted with AES-256, connections use HTTPS, database access is locked down so only Rodinia's servers can reach your data, and connector links are stored only as one-way hashes. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by law.
Children
Rodinia is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in the dashboard before they take effect.
